Hooray for coat flips!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01064645653840767072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5622301314207933975.post-33509704655352373232010-09-25T20:19:55.127-07:002010-09-25T20:19:55.127-07:00A great story about the coat flip...

They of course loved it and it definetly made mine and their lives easier. Well there was one little angel in my class who's family is from Russia and she was always eager to be as autonomous as a child her age could be! She loved the coat flip and would help others figure it out too.<br />Well I was reunited with her and her family about a month ago... 2 years after she was in my class. She's now four and her parents informed me that on their trip to Russia this past year I was the talk of the family. This little girl still remember me and this handy trick I taught her 2 years later. She told her family members all about it and taught her younger cousins the trick. Two years later, this little girl was just as excited about being able to put her own coat on as she was when she first learned it. She was so proud of herself and her confidence in "coat flipping" let her to share the gift with others :) Its just so awesome to me to see how me allowing her to be autonomous gave her such excitement and confidence that it's something she is still proud of 2 years later.Kandice F.https://www.blogger.com/profile/18143214943522287941noreply@blogger.com
